Managed Services Engineer in Lebanon

   

Terms of employment: full time,  nevertheless, working schedule may be dictated by the company requirements.

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible.

Location: Based in Lebanon.

Job Purpose Summary


To be part of the dynamic and fastpaced managed services team, providing remote services and support for clients in Lebanon and the region.

Prerequisite

Skill requirements:

1-Education: Bachelor in Computer or Communications Engineering
2-Credentials (certificates, courses, memberships) Cisco/VMware/Microsoft Certification is a plus.
3-Experience: 0-3 years                                                                      
4-Languages: fluent in Arabic & English, French is a plus

 

Prerequisites/Special skills in the following: 

 

- Experience with VMware / Microsoft Server Environment / Storage Solutions is a plus. 
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Proven time management skills in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to multi-task, be flexible and meet aggressive deadlines.
- Able to work on a fast certification track as per department needs. 


Key responsibilities and competencies:

 

- Remotely solving support and Managed Services cases for clients through remote desktop sharing (WebEx) or direct management access to the equipment
- May be called to short-term missions on premise
- Resolving tickets in a timely manner and in accordance with the clients' maintenance contracts SLA
- Writing cases reports and validating them with the Managed Services Manager
- Managing clients' cases through company CRM    

 

 

Senior Network Engineer - Lebanon

Reports to: Technical Leader

Nationality: Lebanese 

 

Job Purpose Summary

Effectively execute the implementation of projects according to company policy, quality standards, and most importantly project’s scope of work. Responsible for meeting work deadlines, by constantly reporting his/her progress and alerting management of any foreseen obstacles. In charge of project documentation and follow up in addition to technical support.

Prerequisite

Skill requirements:

1-Education: B.S. in Computer or Communications Engineering

2-Credentials (certificates, courses, memberships): CCNP and above.

3-Experience:  5 years of relevant experience

4-Languages: fluent in Arabic & English

Special skills:

- Ability to configure and maintain Cisco Switches routers, firewalls, and Call Manager.
- Ability to configure and maintain Cisco and Avaya Voice Gateway.
- Ability to configure and maintain Cisco, F5, McAfee and Juniper intrusion prevention and intrusion detection systems.
- Ability to implement, maintain, and support antivirus, web-filter, and mail-filter security software such as Trend Micro and Websense products.
- Ability to implement, maintain, and support Microsoft Exchange 2010 and above e-mail servers.
- Ability to analyze and provide Network and security solutions to critical issues.
- Excellent analytical, written and oral presentation skills Excellent English communication and writing skills
- Self-motivated.

- Able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.

Key responsibilities and competencies:

- Executing technical projects with respect to the company’s high standards and expertise.
- Responsible for meeting the deadlines set by management for project delivery.
- Offering support on all escalated technical problems falling in his/her line of expertise whether related to or not to - projects previously executed.
- Responsible for ensuring that all engagements are met in terms of project execution and in accordance with the predefined conditions set by management.
- Reviews deliverables prepared by the pre-sales & technical teams before organizing his/her daily or weekly work agenda.
- Resolves issues in a timely fashion. 
- Constantly updates all team members and Supervising Managers on project progress using the adopted reporting tools.
- Willing to follow specialized training to further develop his/her skills as per agreed upon training path, or as per company request and with respect to the engineer’s professional and technical predisposition. 
- Ensures timely and accurate delivery of project status report and project documentation.


Work conditions:

- The workplace depends on the project’s nature and scope. 
- All activities of Data Consult falling under the Projects Department (Project Implementation/Field Work) scope of responsibility. 
- The services provided consists of all the networking projects and services that Data Consult is currently affiliated with and handled by Data Consult.



Travel information: Mobile and able to travel (valid passport required)

 

Account Manager in Lebanon

   

Terms of employment: full time
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible.
Location: Based in Lebanon.
NB: Could be called to short-term missions abroad
Department: Sales Department
Reports to Sales Manager

Job Purpose Summary

Develop and expand the company’s market share. Maintain and improve customer satisfaction.  Communicate market changes and develop new sales strategies that guarantee a leading role for the company.

Prerequisite

Skill requirements: Education: B.S. in Computer or Communications Engineering
Credentials (certificates, courses, memberships): Professional Sales Courses.
Experience:  At least 3 years of experience in leading sales teams.
Languages: fluent in Arabic & EnglishPrerequisites/Special skills:

General:


Experience in technical solutions sales, consulting and delivery.
Excellent analytical, written and oral presentation skills.
Proven management skills in a dynamic sales environment.
Proven negotiation skills are a must.
Familiarity with Oracle CRM software is a bonus.

Teamwork:

This role works in a fast-paced high-energy market segment and candidates should be able to successfully balance multiple projects and pursue business opportunities in a highly competitive environment and while maintaining a high level of cooperation with other head of departments.


Key responsibilities and competencies:


Responsible for reaching sales & profit targets in accordance to set budget.
Responsible for developing the market and increasing the company’s market share.
Coordinating with the Project Manager(s) and the Presale Department on pending issues.
Marketing and selling the know-how and skills of the company’s expertise.
Supporting and developing the relation with existing and new customers.

Project/Practice Management:


Participating in solution meetings, and customer presentations; development of solutions including preparation of support documentation and proposals; coordination of internal resources to meet client’s specific needs.
Understand customer goals and challenges and establish DC products as the best solution available.
Responsible for ensuring that all engagements are receiving optimal support and are moving smoothly from inception to closure.
Ensures that deliverables prepared by the sales & pre-sales teams are compatible with client’s needs and budget.
Ensures that all RFPs are processed in a timely fashion.(Request for proposal)


Client Management:


Coordination and management of customer resources and expectations.
Anticipates market trends and works on training the sales team to always meet the expectations of our targeted clientele.
Continually seeks and capitalizes upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Possess a knowledge base of each client's business, systems, and objectives.
Effectively sustaining after-sales activities.
Actively contributing to the development of sales strategies that ensures and maintain the company’s leading role in the market.

Project Accounting:

Ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for the projects in coordination with the Accounting Department.
Follows up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.

Work conditions:

Scope:

The workplace can be either Data Consult offices or at the customer’s premises.
All activities of Data Consult falling under the Sales Department scope of responsibility.

Communication line:

Effectively communicates relevant project information to all stakeholders.
Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations to clients, colleagues, and team members.
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
To report monthly to the Sales Manager regarding client status, project progress, and any business related issues. Immediately escalates any setbacks to concerned parties.
