Account Manager in Lebanon


Terms of employment: full time
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible.
Location: Based in Lebanon.

Reports to Sales Team Leader - Commercial Sector

Job Purpose Summary

Responsible for selling and promoting Data Consult Solutions and Products and for developing and securing new opportunities. The Account Manager should grow the existing portfolio and add to it by introducing new clients. 


Skill requirements: Education: B.S. in Computer or Communications Engineering
Credentials (certificates, courses, memberships): Professional Sales Courses.
Experience:  2 to 3 years of experience in leading sales teams.
Languages: fluent in Arabic & EnglishPrerequisites/Special skills:


Experience in technical solutions sales, consulting and delivery.
Excellent analytical, written and oral presentation skills.
Proven management skills in a dynamic sales environment.
Proven negotiation skills. 
Familiarity with Oracle CRM software is a bonus.


This role works in a fast-paced high-energy market segment and candidates should be able to successfully balance multiple projects and pursue business opportunities in a highly competitive environment and while maintaining a high level of cooperation with other head of departments.

Key responsibilities and competencies:

Responsible for reaching sales & profit targets in accordance to set budget.
Responsible for developing the market and increasing the company’s market share.
Coordinating with the Engagement/Project Manager and the Solution Architects on deliverables.
Marketing and selling the know-how and skills of the company’s expertise.
Supporting and developing the relation with existing and new customers.

Project/Practice Management:

Participating in solution meetings, and customer presentations; development of solutions including preparation of support documentation and proposals; coordination of internal resources to meet client’s specific needs.
Understand customer goals and challenges and provide the best solution to answer their pain points.
Responsible for ensuring that all engagements are receiving optimal support and are moving smoothly from inception to closure.
Ensures that deliverables prepared by the solution architects are compatible with client’s needs and budget.
Ensures that all RFPs are processed in a timely fashion.(Request for proposal)

Client Management:

Coordination and management of customer resources and expectations.
Continually seeks and capitalizes upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction. 
Possess a knowledge base of each client's business, systems, and objectives.
Effectively sustaining after-sales activities.

Project Accounting:

Ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for the projects in coordination with the Accounting Department.
Follows up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.

Work conditions:


The workplace can be either Data Consult offices or at the customer’s premises.
All activities of Data Consult falling under the Sales Department scope of responsibility.

Communication line:

Effectively communicates relevant project information to all stakeholders.
Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations to clients, colleagues, and team members.
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
To report monthly to the Sales Team Leader - Commercial, regarding client status, project progress, and any business related issues. Immediately escalates any setbacks to concerned parties.
